A well-respected figurehead on the British D.I.Y. scene, Hackney born and Colchester based Johnno Casson returns with his 9th album Wonky.

And it certainly sounds like a continued run of form as Johnno brings an unashamed frankness to this collection of songs.

Wonky is 10 nuggets of the finest British #SnipHop meets #WonkyPop and is an album all about finding short wonderful bursts of loveliness in difficult times.

Written, played and self produced in the midst of a battle with an invisible illness, all the while striving to make sense of things in what has become an angry and fractured world.

So, a right miserable offering then? – Not a chance! Wonky bristles with intention, bubbles with optimism and further showcases an artist who is wringing every bit of good out of life - Dark days never sounded so bright!
